Almost ten years ago I embarked on my own personal health and fitness transformation. It started almost nine months before the actual “work” that changed me, but it included an infomercial and something called Power 90. It was the first Beachbody program I ever completed, long before P90X, Insanity, and even TurboJam. If you know my story, you know it started with an emotional breakdown in a Target dressing room and ended with the completion of the now famed Power 90 almost a year later. (Click to hear more of my story).
The original Power 90 program had two discs (or VHS tapes!) It included Sweat 1 & 2, Sculpt 1 & 2, Sweat 3 & 4, Sculpt 3 & 4, and Ab ripper 100 & 200. Included was “Michi’s ladder” which was basically a chart of foods, the higher the food was on the chart the better. This was it. No fancy equipment, no crazy jumps, no specific meal plan, no amazing Shakeology, and definitely no convenient little measuring buckets. It wasn’t fancy nor was it catered to variety, but it was effective. How do I know? I went from a size 15 to a size 4 in those 90 days. It WORKED because I WORKED. In fact, when I met Tony Horton and thanked him for changing my life this is exactly what he said, “YOU did the work.”
So, even though I’ve moved on to bigger more complex programs, Power 90 holds a special place in my heart. So, imagine my excitement (and a little sadness) when I heard they were “reworking” Power 90! Recently, Tony Horton went back to the table and revamped Power 90 into a completely new BEGINNER’S program called P90. It is a 90 day program designed to ease beginner’s into a healthy lifestyle. It’s made on purpose to guide people new to exercise. It’s the “on switch” for people who want to make a change and don’t know how or are not ready for huge commitments of extreme programs like Insanity, TurboFire, or P90X.
It looks like this…

Maybe you feel like I did while I was crying in that dreaded dressing room with my babies wondering what was wrong with their Momma. Maybe the doctor has told you that you need to make some changes and do it sooner rather than later. You might just want to be able to climb the steps without stopping and gasping for breath. There’s a possibility you just want someone who knows how you feel and how to climb up out of that pit. I can be that person for you. I lived these things, I felt the same way, and I can help you work your way out of that pit. Are you ready to make some changes? Message me to get started by talking through your goals and finding out if P90 is the right fit for you.
